Ms. Clarice Lau

Mother Teresa's quote states, "Love is a fruit in season at all times, and within reach of every hand." And Lau believes that "Art is a gift to our community, and is accessible to everyone." Lau has accumulated over 30 years of experience in public & private healthcare sectors, as well as with major insurance companies in Hong Kong. She deeply values traditional Chinese culture and ethics. While working at a hospital, she leveraged her appreciation for Chinese culture to create therapeutic environments for patients. She advocated for "reminiscence corners" that enabled patients to engage with art, history, and their own memories. This allowed them to draw on their cultural activities, helping them find a more positive outlook, revitalise their spirits, and engage in cognitive training. Lau applied her nursing expertise & cultural knowledge to develop therapeutic spaces that improved patient wellbeing & cognition through memory and cultural engagement.

Lau believes that all people possess inherent creative talents, even if they lack formal art training. Chinese art & culture can be a source of inspiration, optimism, and self-confidence in daily life. She had the chance to meet a renowned Chinese painter of the Lingnan School (He Baili) and his son, a contemporary ink artist (He Jilan), who draws on his understanding of Chinese philosophy, modern art, and Chinese calligraphy, while being passionate about preserving Chinese artistic traditions. This was a profoundly uplifting experience.

Inheritance is a profound connection of upholding one's values, cultivating hope, integrating life's foundations with social culture, family vision, and personal virtues. Determined to foster this spirit of inheritance, She and her husband have established the "Lovelink Charity." They believe that art is a gift to the community, conveying care among all walks of life, guided by gratitude, care, and the principles of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sustainability. Formed by their vision & mission, they have assembled a team of supporting personnel, including advisors, committee members, and volunteers in Hong Kong.

Lovelink Charity uses creative art forms, a "Splash" mascot inspired by the Chinese steamer bun, to blend traditional and modern Chinese artistic elements. Splash is our ambassadors, telling stories that bring the community together through Chinese art with love & care. By connecting the community through art, the foundation hopes to amplify social harmony & unity, while uplifting and supporting those in need.

Lau takes great pride in the Charity's ability to make art accessible, allowing it to serve as a unifying force that cultivates Chinese culture and promotes love & care.

Mr. Tony Lee

Lee is a businessman focused on product development and production, the major markets are mainland China and overseas. While he finds satisfaction in many aspects of my work, he also loves to pursue work-life balance. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports and going to the theater with his wife to watch movies. He also accompany her to the exhibitions of Art & Culture , which have sparked my interest in Chinese Art & Culture.

Given his upbringing, he had limited exposure to diverse art forms like music and painting during his childhood. However, as he matured, he came to deeply appreciate the restorative power of Chinese art and culture. Motivated by this realisation, Tony, along with his wife Clarice, co-founded the Lovelink Charity Foundation. They desire to give people seeds of love and care, and aim to advocate it through art as a gift.

Mr. He Baili

He Baili, born in 1945, grown up in Hong Kong, is one of the foremost artists working in the medium of brush and ink today. He is widely recognised as a pioneer in the field of Chinese ink painting. Known for his consistently innovative practice while remaining respectful to traditions. He seeks to convey expressions of the mind through compelling depictions of nature with a distinctive visual language. It is no surprise that his images of the nature world-lush mountains suffused with mist and dew-poignantly strike a spiritual chord of feeling and evoke reverie in the viewer.

for He, change lie at the heart of his artistic practice. Throughout a prolific career spanning six decades, he has continued to experiment with diverse styles and subject-matters: from early sketches of fishing boats off the shores of Hong Kong Island to the majestic portrayal of ridges and mountains of North America. In recent years, He has travelled extensively in China, painting magnificent scenes with prowess, richness and a new wave of vitality.

During the past decades, under He’s spiritual brush and ink, series of artworks  namely “He Baili’s Idyllic Hong Kong”  ” Elegance of Nature”   “Glamour of Autumn”,  “ Impressions of Mt. Huang” and especially, He’s latest series “Dawning of Hope”,  inspired by the breathtaking sceneries of Tai Hang Mountains after he conquered the summit climb at the age of 70, have attracted both critical and popular acclaim east and west over the past decades.

My son, He Jilan, was able to participate in supporting Lovelink Charity Foundation founded by Chairman Clarice and her husband, Tony, to convey gratitude and care through the power of art. It indeed also marked a milestone in the art field. As a painter, I will give our wholehearted support and encouragement to Lovelink Charity Foundation. Passing the beauty of the art, Ji Lan is extremely gratified to be able to integrate art into social mission.

Eric, as a contemporary Chinese ink artist, is passionate about the long-standing traditions of Chinese culture. Over a decade, he has been dedicated to working on visual art and exploring ways to integrate Chinese artistic elements into contemporary art. In addition to his artistic endeavours, he has extensive experience in marketing and brand design. He hopes that through his artistic approaches, he can showcase the charisma of the Chinese ink painting and culture to people from different social strata, incorporating it into daily life and making it an indispensable element of community culture.

Mr. Fung Siu Ming

Mr. SiuMing FUNG graduated with first-class honors from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, majoring in design. He founded SiuMing.Photo 15 years ago and specialises in wedding, bridal, commercial, and family photography.

Siu Ming has been selected as one of the "10 Best Wedding Photographers in Hong Kong" for 9 consecutive years and was awarded the " Asia WPA 20 Candidate Photographer of the Year " by the Asia Wedding Photographers Association, an honor given to only 20 photographers across Asia.

Mr. Eric Siu

Mr. Eric Siu has been engaged in diversified business activities for more than 30 years. He has experience in administrative management, planning, construction and project execution. He provides customers with professional and comprehensive services through strong cross-border network resources, including: corporate brand management, promotion, organising activities, and holding seminars and exhibitions in short, medium and long-term strategic planning. In recent years, Eric has been committed to promoting the integrated development of medical services in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. In August 2023, the Greater Bay Area Medical Professional Development Association was established to assist a number of different groups and institutions in exchanges and cooperation in various cities in the Greater Bay Area, and put great effort into promoting the development of the Greater Bay Area. He is Founding-Chairman of Greater Bay Area Medical Professional Development Association, Vice-Chairman of Greater Bay Area Medical Professional Development Association, Honorary Advisor (Marketing) of FIRST Hub of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. Mr. George Lung (SBS，MH，JP)

Mr. George Lung actively participates in national affairs and social welfare services. He was selected as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Hong Kong in 1995. He was awarded the Medal of Honor (MH) by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2001. In 2008, he was appointed as a Justice of the Peace (JP) by the Chief Executive. In 2014, he was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS)and will be awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star (SBS) in 2024. George is also a member of the 10th to 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He is currently the senior administrative regional director of a major insurance company in Hong Kong and leads a direct team of more than 1,400 people.

James Yiu has served the Hong Kong education sector for thirty years. He left work in 2019 to pursue a doctorate in Christian Worship Studies. He is now actively participating in church ministries and volunteer services for Christian organisations and the school sector.

Dr. Ko  Wing Man

(GBS JP)

Dr. Ko is is a specialist in orthopedic and he is currently a non-official member of the Executive Council of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, a member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the Standing Committee of the Chao Zhou City Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He is also a Council Member of the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Committee Organisations and Vice President of the Hong Kong China Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Ko was Secretary for Food and Health from July 2012 to June 2017 and previously Chairman of the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society and Director of the Hong Kong Red Cross. He was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star in 2017.

Dr. Ko is a Chiu Chow native and has a strong ambition to inherit local Chiu Chow's culture and Chinese culture. As Chiu Chow's  history, Chiu Chow dialect, opera, music, architecture, food, crafts, embroidery, and even Gongfu tea and ceramics all contain great connotations; Dr. Ko hopes that the young generation can enjoy their physical and mental pleasure through tea art classes, tea tasting, and understanding of the history of tea art, tea varieties, and tea making techniques. Dr. Ko strongly agrees with the mission of Lovelink Charity Foundation, which is about promoting accessibility, continuity and inheritance of Chinese arts and culture among the general public and spreading love and care to the needy in society. It is vital for people to connect their body and mind with art, thus fostering their own physical and mental wellness. From western or modern medicine, most diseases can be cured by internal and external factors.  Whether it is congenital factors or acquired reasons, focus on yourself first and maintain good physical and mental health. "Pleasure from helping others" is also a traditional virtue of Chinese culture and the Chinese nation, allowing Chinese culture and art to be passed down, thereby achieving the great health of everyone and every family, and achieving social harmony and stability.

Dr. Lam Ching Choi (SBS JP)

Dr. Lam Ching-choi is a specialist in paediatric and community medicine and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Haven of Hope Christian Service.  Under his leadership, Haven of Hope Christian Service is one of the pioneers in the provision of holistic care for the elderly in Hong Kong.

Dr. Lam has extensive knowledge of local public health policies and services and serves as a member of various statutory and advisory bodies. He is currently a non-official member of the Executive Council of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and serves as the chairman of various committees, including the Advisory Committee on Mental Health, Chairman of the Council for Carbon Neutrality & Sustainable Development,  the Steering Committee on Review of Manpower for Healthcare Services in Residential Care Homes, the Healthcare & Wellness Training Board of the Vocational Training Council and the Independent Commission Against Corruption Complaints Committee. He is also a member of the Green Technology & Finance Development Committee as well as the Supervisory Board and the Nominating Committee of the Hong Kong Housing Society, and to advise the Government on the different policies. 

Dr. Lam has been honored by the HKSAR Government with the Justice of Peace in 2003 and Silver Bauhinia Star in 2019 respectively.  In 2018, apart from receiving Honorary Fellowship from Lingnan University, he was also given the Ageing Asia Global Ageing Influencer Award (Special Recognitions) for his devotion to public services and his influence on policy-making for the global ageing trend.

Lovelink Charity Foundation emphasizes ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) as the basis for development and also makes good use of traditional Chinese art and culture as the medium to promote love and care to the disadvantaged groups in the community.  I highly appreciate and recognize the work of Lovelink Charity Foundation, which serves a wide range of people, including subdivided housing households, the youth, the elderly and a number of patients.
